Software Tech Lead

Description

Datarails is a financial planning and analysis platform that automates financial reporting and planning while enabling finance teams to continue using Excel's familiar spreadsheets and financial models.  

We seek an experienced Technical Leader to join our team, writing code hands-on, overseeing projects, guiding the technical team, and ensuring high-quality standards. 

The potential candidate has creative solutions to complex challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Providing technical solutions for Core components of the product. Implement hands-on and guide developers towards quality solutions.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as CTO Office, product management, and CS, to meet all technical requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development capabilities.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures.


Requirements

  • 1+ Years as a Technical Leader in a SaaS company
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience with Python, Relational DBs (postgres, MSSQL), Producer Consumer Queues architecture
  • Experience and familiarity with Cloud Architecture and services
  • Advantages: Django, RabbitMQ, Celery, Redis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques
  • Experience in scale-up challenges and maintaining legacy code
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
