Inc. 5000 Names Datarails No. 344 Among America’s Fastest-Growing Companies

Inc magazine has named Datarails as one of America’s fastest growing companies. In their annual report of the 5,000 private U.S. companies that showed exceptional growth, Datarails came in at number 344, with an incredible 1,689% growth.

In the 2023 edition, the popular tech news site Inc. Magazine ranked thousands of companies according to their percentage of revenue growth from the years 2019 to 2022, and created a list of the top 5,000.

The report specifies the qualifications as follows: “To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2022. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2022 is $2 million.”

In addition to being the 344th fastest growing company overall, Datarails also holds some other distinctions:

  • The 43th fastest growing private software company in the US.
  • The fastest growing software company in the category of finance.
  • One of the top 50 fastest growing companies in New York City.
  • The median growth from all 5,000 companies in the report was 213%. Datarails far outperformed that with 1,689%.

Datarails’ software provides a solution to the manual and time consuming processes that tend to plague finance teams. Tasks such as collecting data from different sources, creating simple reports, and conducting the month end close often take up way too much time for finance professionals.

Datarails is solving this problem through automation.

The AI powered platform consolidates data from different sources, saves days of work each month on the month end close process, and even has a new chatbot feature that gets you quick answers and reports to questions that finance teams or management might have.

Datarails growth is no surprise as it has become a favorite tool among CFOs and finance professionals. The software is Excel native, quite intuitive, and new features such as the AI chatbot keep Datarails ahead of the competition.

The 2023 recognition from Inc. 5000 comes after a host of other awards that Datarails has won in the past few years as a leading startup. In 2022, Datarails received “The most promising B2B startup award” from top tech and news site “The Information”, and in 2021 Datarails was chosen as the number one most promising startup by Globes, another leading tech newspaper.
